Editor-in-Chief Imtiaz Alam
Mr. Imtiaz Alam, a leading journalist on South Asian affairs, edits the South Asian Media Net. He is also the Editor of South Asian Journal and Secretary General of South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA). Mr Alam has written extensively on the issues of conflict and cooperation in South Asia and is published regularly by leading newspapers. He also works with daily The News, Pakistan, as its Editor Current Affairs.

Executive Editor Hussain Naqi
Mr. Hussain Naqi, one of the senior most journalists in Pakistan, is the Executive Editor of South Asian Media Net. He also works as the Editor of South Asian Media Monitor. He has worked as the Editor of Punjab Punch and The News, Pakistan. Mr Naqi has been writing extensively on political and human rights issues and is associated with the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan.

Editor Waqar Mustafa
Online, print and broadcast journalist, with about two decades of experience of working for national and international news websites, newspaper organisations and broadcasting houses. He is a language enthusiast and has a knack for writing, editing and design.

Associate Editor Sushant Sareen
Mr. Sushant Sareen, an experienced hand at South Asian affairs, is the Associate Editor of South Asian Media Net from India. He writes on Indo-Pak affairs and specializes in political and security issues. He has a vast experience as a keen observer of Pakistan's affairs and their impact on Islamabad's ties with New Delhi.

Associate Editor Yubanath Lamsal
Mr. Yubanath Lamsal, a journalist based in Kathmandu, works as Associate Editor of South Asian Media Net for Nepal.
He also works as the deputy editor of a Kathmandu-based English newspaper. Development and security issues are the fields of his special focus.

Coordinating Editor Media Monitor Sadaf Arshad
Ms. Sadaf Arshad works as the Coordinating Editor, Media Monitor, with South Asian Media Net.
She holds a Masters degree in Mass Communication and has a deep-rooted interest in subjects like peace and development, security, poverty eradication and economic and gender equality.

Sub Editor Amjad Ali
Mr. Amjad Ali is a sub-editor with South Asian Media Net. He prepares news and opinion pages for the site's sections on Afghanistan, Maldives and Bhutan.
Mr Amjad has for years worked with various political and non-governmental organisations on political, social and human rights issues.

Sub Editor Huma Sadaf
Ms. Huma Sadaf is a sub-editor working with South Asia Media Net. A promising young member of the team, she is quick in communication and good at handling computers and internet. She focuses on gender issues.
