MALE: The People's Majlis of Maldives has refused to comment on regulations on the sale of alcohol, which were sent for comments, as the Economic Development Ministry of Maldives is the only authority that should make the regulations on the subject. Adhil Saleem said the Minister of Economic Development would take a decision on this regulation once he is back after holidays. He also said that the Ministry had decided to eliminate the permits issued for alcohol, other than those under Vienna Convention.
